Solmate Socks was started in 2000 by Marianne Wakerlin with the simple idea that “Life’s too short for matching socks.” When Marianne retired in 2015, her son and daughter-in-law dedicated themselves to carrying on the family tradition of creating highly coveted, treasured works of art that can be worn on your own two feet. Each product is locally-crafted at their own mill in Hickory, North Carolina and hand-finished to last a lifetime.
