Peach Tree: The arrival of peach season is a telltale sign that summer is just around the corner. Originating from China, there are over 2,000 varieties of peaches worldwide, 300 of which can be found in the United States. Peach trees can grow up to 25 feet tall, and some full-grown trees can even produce around 150 pounds of peaches a year! This delicious, summertime fruit has a fuzzy outer layer to protect it from unwanted insect visitors and is known to be an excellent source of vitamins.
