Uncle Goose: Bird Blocks

One side of each block reveals a close up of the bird featured on its opposite. Colorful Art Nouveau letters grace the remaining sides. Two debossed letters on each block. A companion to our Bug, Flower, and Ocean sets.

You'll see the Art Nouveau design sensibility applied to all the block sets that feature nature: bugs, flowers, birds, and ocean. But as you might imagine, Uncle Goose is a bit partial to birds. With a top hat and bow tie, the beloved Uncle Goose character also evokes a 1920's fashion sensibility.

Uncle Goose was founded by William Bultman in 1983 after he learned no one in the USA seemed to be making wood blocks for children anymore. Today the company is run by his son Pete, who has expanded his father’s vision from ABC blocks to include nursery rhymes, dinosaurs, mathematics, and much more.
