Genesis Chapman
Bent Mountain, Virginia
A native of Bent Mountain, Virginia, Genesis Chapman received his BFA from the Art Institute in Kansas City in 2001 and his MFA from VCU in Painting and Printmaking in 2010. He splits his time with his wife, daughter, and two crazy dogs between their homes on Bent Mountain where the family woodshop is located, and in Richmond where he teaches painting.
