After working with elementary aged children as a special education teacher for over 20 years, Barbara Lee set out to develop a simple tool to help children develop a strong tripod grip, essential for handwriting skills. Four years later she came up with Crayon Rocks—soft soy wax crayons in the perfect shape and size for young children to use.
