Uncle Goose: Hebrew Blocks

Uncle Goose

Explore the Hebrew language and teach children about heritage. Enjoy the filigree of interlacing triangles that surrounds two embossed letters on each block. Two other sides show one number and one animal paired with their Hebrew translations. The remaining sides contain more hand crafted letters, including the five soffit forms.

The Uncle Goose designer pored over 19th century artwork to find the distinctive color palette for these blocks. She also found a wood carving in a Hebrew story book that inspired the filigree of interlacing triangles. The unique filigree and color palette of Uncle Goose Hebrew ABC Blocks are steeped in tradition.

Uncle Goose was founded by William Bultman in 1983 after he learned no one in the USA seemed to be making wood blocks for children anymore. Today the company is run by his son Pete, who has expanded his father’s vision from ABC blocks to include nursery rhymes, dinosaurs, mathematics, and much more.
